April 2020 Update

 

Hi., wow what hugely challenging world we live in right now. My thoughts are with my friends and family overseas. Here in New Zealand, I've been blown away watching our country come together and unite in these extraordinary times. With so much uncertainty on what the future looks like post-Covid-19 I think It's also important to try and remain as positive as possible while we navigate our way through this, and know we will come out the other side.

 

One thing for sure is Kiwi's are super resilient. Life will go on, just differently. Post lockdown, business and life will resume and we will all have to adjust to a 'new normal'.

 

The world of real estate is still turning over, we are finding new and innovative ways to do things and still get good outcomes for our vendors. Despite the lockdown, there is still activity in the NZ housing market and I have confidence this will continue and get busier post lockdown. People will always have genuine reasons to buy and sell - and while we may not be able to physically view properties on-site, using technology we can digitally market homes to prospective buyers,, do virtual home inspections and even sell properties via live online Auctions like we did last week.. Like everyone, we are adjusting to doing things differently and it's cool to see people embracing technology.

Personally, my focus during the coming weeks and months is staying connected. Connected to my friends, family, neighbours, my community & colleagues, Connected to my clients, my buyers and sellers. Keeping them informed and up to date, and basically, keeping the wheels moving, There's still a lot of buyers out there including kiwi Ex-Pats returning home to NZ. 

 

And we still have a shortage of good stock across Auckland's prime suburbs, so my focus continues to be helping buyers find the home they want and working with my vendors to get the best possible outcome for them -whether its a full marketing campaign or an 'off-market' listing, it will be tailored to suit your needs best..
